stages
G for Gather
Let’s open up and break the ice. We talk about the science of who to trust and how (once we have trust issues!). We walk through how to share your grief story.
R for Rage
Your inner Rottweiler is a powerful protector but, when left unleashed, can run amok. One rule: just don’t be a d*ck! We practice how to not be afraid to cry, scream, and express that energy so you MOVE it through your body. You run anger--don’t let it run you. We practice swamping and best-in-class anger management exercises.
I for Introspection
We practice deep Vipassana meditations together, solitude in writing for creative expression, and hold accountability between everyone for powerful alone time.
E for Entheogens
Psychedelics are tools, not toys. We discuss psychedelic research and therapy as a vital pillar of moving through grief, end-of-life anxiety and survivor’s guilt.
F for Fearlessness
It’s time to uncover what’s beneath the depression and anxiety often symptomatic of grief because our fear will drive us deeper back into the hole. We practice what-if reasoning, cognitive behavioral therapy, and eliminating ‘shoulds.’
About Me.
I am passionate about studying the long-term effects of childhood trauma and grief. My research as the co-leader of the Code Red study with Quantified Citizen focuses on how women's physiology and emotional well-being are affected by menstrual health, stress, and unresolved grief.
Central to my work is the GRIEF Methodology. My ultimate goal is to leverage this methodology to become a self-sufficient author and establish a children's charity focused on trauma and grief. I envision building a research-driven organization where I can mentor future RAs in exploring how childhood trauma impacts later life.
